Sabato 27 luglio 2019 alle ore 19.30, presso la Sede del G.A.L. Terra d’Arneo (Via G. Mameli, 9) a Veglie sarà presentato il volume di Egidio Zacheo, “La sinistra finisce. Dal populismo di Vendola e Renzi al governo gialloverde”, edito da Edizioni Esperidi.
Dopo i saluti di Claudio Paladini sindaco di Veglie, introdurrà la serata Cosimo Durante Presidente del GAL Terra d’Arneo e Accademico dei Georgofili. Dialogheranno con l’autore Angelo Cipolla del Presidio del libro di Veglie-Leverano-Carmiano e Michele Emiliano Presidente della Regione Puglia.
Sarà presente l’editore Claudio Martino.
Una serata dedicata alla cultura qui al GAL Terra d’Arneo a ricordare il nostro impegno e la nostra disponibilità ad accogliere momenti di condivisione e crescita per il nostro territorio. Insieme a noi, a presentare l’ultimo lavoro di Egidio Zacheo, il Presidio del Libro ed il Presidente della Regione Michele Emiliano
L’autore. Egidio Zacheo ha insegnato Scienza Politica presso l’Università del Salento. È stato più volte sindaco di Campi Salentina. Tra le sue pubblicazioni ricordiamo: “Politica e istituzioni nella transizione. L’Italia in Europa” (2000), “Il secolo della democrazia. Politica e diritti nel Novecento” (2003), “Un paese in bilico. Il mio volontariato culturale e politico” (2005), L’anomalia italiana e l’autodafé della sinistra” (2010), “L’identità divisa. L’Italia e il nostro debole spirito pubblico” (2013).
